How to raise Colorado potato beetles
When I was at Chiba University, I had the opportunity to work with various insects, but I had never seen a Colorado potato beetle until I went to Delaware. My advisor gave me valuable advice on growing potatoes and raising Colorado potato beetles, and I eventually raised them myself. However, since it was my first time working with this insect, I often found myself confused. I adjusted the details through trial and error while working on it myself. Many aspects were difficult to notice until I tried them firsthand. Therefore, I would like to briefly summarize how to raise Colorado potato beetles here.

コロラドハムシの飼育方法
千葉大にいたときにも、いろいろな昆虫に触れる機会がありましたが、コロラドハムシについては、デラウェアに行くまで見たこともありませんでした。指導教官からジャガイモの栽培方法やコロラドハムシの飼育の仕方についていろいろとアドバイスをもらいながら実際に飼育していきましたが、いかんせん初めての昆虫だったので、戸惑うことも多くありました。トライアル・アンド・エラーを繰り返しつつ、実際に自分で作業しながら、細かいところを調整していきました。やってみると結構気がつきにくいこともたくさんあったので、ここでコロラドハムシの飼育方法について簡単にまとめておきたいと思います。
