Ultimately, one of the main conclusions from my research on resistance is that our understanding of genetic variation in insecticide resistance within natural insect populations is likely just the tip of the iceberg. As research continues, many interesting findings will undoubtedly come to light, and I look forward to seeing what future studies will uncover.

結局、私が行った抵抗性研究から導かれる大きな結論の一つは、昆虫の自然集団内の殺虫剤抵抗性の遺伝的変異について、私たちが理解していると思っていることというのは、恐らく氷山の一角に過ぎないということだろうと思いますし、これからさらに研究していけば、面白いことがいくらでも出てくるだろうと私は考えています。これから研究が発展し、その暁にどのようなことが明らかになるのか、とても楽しみにしています。
